Learn how to schedule reposts of your past posts and schedule the deletion of your own posts in Chronosky.
Overview
Scheduled Reposts
A scheduled repost lets you pick one of your own past posts and have Chronosky automatically repost it at a date and time you choose. This is useful for resurfacing evergreen content, re-sharing an announcement at a better time for your audience, or having Chronosky repost it for you automatically instead of doing it by hand.
Scheduled Deletions
A scheduled deletion lets you pick one of your own posts and have Chronosky automatically delete it at a date and time you choose. You can only schedule deletion for your own posts.

Deletion Cannot Be Undone
Once a scheduled deletion runs, the post is permanently removed from Bluesky and cannot be restored. A warning is shown when you schedule a deletion, but there is no way to recover the post afterward, so double-check the post and the time before confirming.
Scheduling a Repost
Step 1: Select the Target Post
- From the dashboard, open the post you want to repost
- Click "Schedule Repost"
Step 2: Set the Execution Time
- Click the date field and select a date
- Cannot select dates before today
- Cannot select dates more than 30 days ahead
- Click the time field and select the time
- 24-hour format

Managing Scheduled Reposts
You can view, reschedule, or delete a scheduled repost from the dashboard:
- Find the repost in the Pending Tab
- Click the card to view details
- Click "Change Time" to pick a new date and time, or "Delete" to cancel it and remove it from the list

Deleting a Pending Item Cancels It
Deleting a pending scheduled repost stops it from running and removes it from the list immediately — the target post itself is unaffected. Deleting an already-executed item (completed, failed, or previously cancelled) only removes it from your history; since it already ran (or no longer counts against your limits), this does not free up any additional quota.
Scheduling a Deletion
Step 1: Select the Post to Delete
- From the dashboard, open the post you want to delete
- You can only schedule deletion for your own posts
- Click "Schedule Deletion"

A confirmation warning is shown because scheduled deletions cannot be undone once executed. Make sure you selected the correct post.

No Slot Restrictions for Deletions
Unlike scheduled posts and reposts, scheduled deletions are not subject to the time-slot rules below. You can set any date and time you like.

How Time Slots Work
Every scheduled post and scheduled repost is placed into a "slot" — the same date and time, down to the minute. Scheduled deletions are not part of this slot system.
Slot rules:
- A single slot can hold one of the following:
- One scheduled post (a thread counts as one item, including all of its child posts)
- Multiple scheduled reposts (normally up to 5)
- A scheduled post and a scheduled repost cannot occupy the same slot.
- In other words, one slot = one scheduled post = five scheduled reposts.
- Slots that already have something scheduled must be spaced at least the standard scheduling interval apart.
- Scheduled deletions are not affected by the slot rules above and can be set at any date and time.
Example (10-minute interval):
- If one scheduled post exists at 0:00, a scheduled repost cannot also be placed at 0:00.
- The earliest available slot for scheduled reposts is 0:10, where up to 5 reposts can be placed.

What Does "Per Cycle" Mean?
The per-cycle limit is not based on the calendar month. It's measured in 30-day cycles starting from your account's creation date, and repeats every 30 days from that anchor date. For example, if your account was created on the 5th, each cycle runs from the 5th to the 4th of the following month (by day count, not calendar date).

Slots Free Up Automatically
Your concurrent limit is not permanent — a slot is released automatically as soon as a scheduled item runs, is deleted, or fails.
Troubleshooting
"This time slot already has a scheduled post"
Cause: You tried to schedule a repost at the same date and time as an existing scheduled post (or thread).
Solution: Choose a different time, or move/delete the existing scheduled post first.
"Please leave more time between scheduled items"
Cause: The date and time you selected is closer to another scheduled item than the minimum scheduling interval allows.
Solution: Leave at least 10 minutes between any two slots that have something scheduled.
"You've reached your scheduling limit"
Cause: You've reached either the concurrent limit or the per-cycle limit for scheduled posts and reposts.
Solution: Wait for a pending item to be published, or delete one you no longer need. Remember the per-cycle limit resets every 30 days from your account's creation date, not on the 1st of the month.
"You can only schedule deletion for your own posts"
Cause: You attempted to schedule a deletion for a post that isn't yours.
Solution: Scheduled deletion is only available for posts made by your own account.
FAQ
Q: Can I schedule a repost and a regular post at the exact same time?
A: No. A single time slot can hold either one scheduled post (or thread) or up to 5 scheduled reposts, but not both at once.
Q: Does scheduling a repost or deletion count against the same limit as scheduled posts?
A: Scheduled reposts share the same concurrent and per-cycle limits as scheduled posts. Scheduled deletions use a separate concurrent limit and have no per-cycle limit.
Q: Can I undo a scheduled deletion after it runs?
A: No. Once a scheduled deletion executes, the post is permanently removed from Bluesky and cannot be restored.
Q: Can I cancel a scheduled repost or deletion before it runs?
A: Yes. Find it in the Pending Tab on the dashboard and click "Delete". It's stopped from running and removed from the list immediately.
Q: Does deleting an already-executed scheduled repost or deletion free up my quota?

Q: Is there a limit on how far in advance I can schedule a repost or deletion?
