INFO

Understanding Usage Limits
Concurrent Post Limit:
- Counts only pending (not yet published) posts
- Published posts don't count toward your limit
- Failed posts don't count toward your limit
- Limit resets as posts are published or deleted
Example:
- Limit: 10 pending posts
- Current: 7 pending posts
- Available: 3 more posts can be scheduled
Scheduler Authorization
Understanding Scheduler Authorization
The scheduler authorization is a separate authentication token that allows Chronosky's background scheduler to post on your behalf at the scheduled time.
Key Points:
- Separate from Login - Scheduler uses a different token than your web login
- Required for Posting - Posts won't be published without active scheduler authorization
- 180-Day Validity - Authorization expires after 180 days and needs renewal
Checking Scheduler Status
Navigate to the Scheduler section in Settings to view:
- Status Indicator - Shows if scheduler is active or expired
- Expiration Date - When the current authorization will expire
- Days Remaining - Time until authorization expires
Status Types:
| Status | Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Active | 🟢 Green | Scheduler is authorized and working |
| Expired | 🔴 Red | Authorization expired, re-authorization needed |
| Expiring Soon | 🟡 Yellow | Less than 30 days remaining |
Re-authorizing Scheduler
When your scheduler authorization is expired or expiring soon:
- Navigate to Settings → Scheduler
- Click the "Re-authorize Scheduler" button
- You'll be redirected to Bluesky OAuth
- Approve the authorization request
- You'll be redirected back to Settings
- Verify the new expiration date
WARNING
Authorization Renewal It's recommended to re-authorize before expiration to prevent interruptions to your scheduled posts.
